:SYMBOL: is a graphic representation of an idea, done by graphic artist, designer and animator Maria Vesselinova, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her tools are both old school pencil and paper, as well as computer graphics applications.

:SYMBOL: intends a fine balance between traditional methods of creating graphics and the technology based ones, as they fairly and accordingly share the process from the creation of the image till its distribution.
